This week, on Flaky pastry... a little bit of an early THursday update because... April 24th is Flakyversary! And not just any Flakyversary... on this day twenty years ago, the first page of the comic was published!

So I thought let's celebrate with some period-appropriate outfits - but not from the 2020s, those aren't exciting clothing-wise (with hindsight).

I also happen to be down with a cold right now, so uh...*sneeze*...stay flaky for me, will ya?

i.e. My beloved spouse made me notice - which I hadn't before in my whole life - that the French for that, 'Bonne idée', sounds like 'Bunny day'. Un jour de lapins!

Oh, and this character in this outfit. It is one. A good idea. You're welcome!
