Comic updated!
Drum roll, please

And here are the winners, folks, of the very first Flaky Pastry Fan Contest!
Starting with the honourable mentions and working our way up to the big winner:

First In, First Out! Such is the prize Kashim wins not only for being the first to submit an entry in the contest, but for doing a pretty damn good cosplay/photomanipulation of the neighbour in dungeon gear! Rest, stealth commando! The next wave of skeletons is just around the corner...

The Cup Holder prize goes to Aja, for her detail-gasmic 3D model of Nitrine's dream car! There's even some magazines... to read while driving at 90mph on the freeway.

The movement, the colour! The special Movement and Colour prize goes to MonkeyDomi's entry. Of course it helps that the faces are super cute and the clothing designs WHACKY.

Ye Olde Timey Awarde goes to Wings of Wrath. His interpretation of an old comic book cover really captures that pulp feeling with theme, layout, and wear & tear effects!

And a very honourable mention for Sheer Epicness goes to Chris Chalice's Purifier Over Zazabul, a massive, action-packed fan fiction! Airships! Pirates! Dark elves! Orcs! Better write off at least half an hour in your day planner, cause this one'll keep you busy.

Supplemental drum roll, please.

The runner-up of this whole competition (sadly, no fancy prize title!) is Lomebririon with his stylishly dressed, statuesque and vividly-coloured Zintiel! ...not to mention the added bonus of the alternate version, in which we recognize our good old crazy elf! Dressing up for a night out is one thing, but there better be something FUN to do there. Ouch!

Last, but oh-so-not-least is our grand prize winner! Nau actually went and made a whole MySpace page for our favourite hostess, Croissant! Can you believe that? I couldn't! By a whole page, I mean it has tons of short posts, a bunch of much longer ones describing the events of her fanfictitious life, all the profile info including her me-referencing favourite shows and movies, photos of the Croissant sock puppet made for this purpose, AND a video of said puppet in action, video-blogging and singing!

That is all, folks! Or is it? I've posted the whole WHOPPING thirty entries on the Art page, and I strongly urge you to check them all out because they are all awesome! I loved them all, and I want to thank everyone sooooo much for participating!
