This week, on Flaky pastry... we conclude the Pet Project slice! New character, say hi!

Now, for news news. I've been skipping updates lately, and some of you have had worries! Let me reassure you all on one point: I'm doing great! Nothing terrible has befallen me - quite the opposite, in fact. What is going on is that I have recently gotten married, and now my spouse and myself and our two teen age children are working through immigration processes, and trying to buy a house so we can have a cozy life together! It's new and different and complicated, but very exciting and rewarding!

What does this mean for Flaky Pastry? Well, for now it means hiatus. My intent is to make the traditional Christmas wallpaper for next week, and then... who knows when I'll update again! But this is not the end! My new family are all fans of pastry and none of them would want me to quit. I have many more fun stories I want to tell, and when we're all settled in I hope to have the time to tell them again.

Thank you all who have been reading so far! This comic has meant a lot to me these many years past. I am happy and proud to have been able to surprise, delight and inspire you.
